Before I became a financial planner, I worked for the Boston Red Sox. While I was there, I kept noticing how confused most people felt about their finances, and how few of them had anyone to ask for a straight answer. That's what originally pulled me into this work.
I became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional in 2022. In 2024 I became an Enrolled Agent, a tax credential granted by the IRS, because I wanted a deeper understanding of tax. So many planning questions turn out to be tax questions. Whether to do a Roth conversion this year, or when to sell a block of RSUs, usually comes down to what it does to your return.
Today I work with clients in New York City and across the country as an independent, fee-only fiduciary. I don't earn commissions. My fees are straightforward: a percentage of the assets I manage, or a flat fee for a one-time plan. Either way, you'll always work with me directly.

In our complimentary 30-minute meeting, I’ll introduce myself, share our firm’s philosophy, and walk you through our client engagement process. You will share with me your goals and priorities, and together we will determine if our services are the right fit for your needs. If we agree there’s a good match, we’ll move forward to the first planning meeting.
In this meeting, I’ll take the time to understand your unique financial situation and we’ll also gather any relevant financial documents you’re comfortable sharing, such as bank and brokerage statements, tax returns, insurance policies, and estate planning documents. If we both decide to move forward, we’ll formalize our partnership with a signed client agreement at the conclusion of this meeting.
In this meeting, I’ll present the comprehensive financial plan I’ve prepared based on your goals and financial situation. We’ll review how your objectives align with the plan, discuss your current financial position, and address any questions you may have. I’ll also provide tailored recommendations around savings, investments, and tax-efficient strategies. If we’re aligned, we’ll begin implementing these recommendations.
